Personal and Professional Background
Samantha joined McCabe Terrill Lawyers in early 2009 in their insurance group after having worked in Dublin and London for the previous six and a half years.
Samantha has extensive experience in insurance and personal injury litigation having worked for top tier London law firms Clifford Chance and Denton Wilde Sapte. She has acted in litigation of all sizes from small matters for individuals through to multi-million dollar insurance / reinsurance litigation for major international insurance companies. At McCabe Terrill Samantha’s practice is focused on liability work for the NSW Police Force and public liability claims.
Samantha obtained a BA/LLB from Macquarie University in 2001 and was admitted as a solicitor in 2003. Samantha has been admitted to practice as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales, the Federal Court of Australia and the High Court of Australia. Samantha is an active member of McCabe Terrill’s pro-bono committee and regularly volunteers at the Inner City Legal Centre in Darlinghurst on their free legal advice nights. She is also a committee member of the Women Lawyers Association of NSW.
